Palo Santo is a sacred tree, used for centuries by Shamans during ceremonies - creating a sacred, holy place. directions - use a candle/match/lighter to ignite your stick of palo santo. hold at about 45 degree angle pointing the tip toward the flame. Allow it to burn for a minimum of 20 seconds, smudge in the same way, then blow out, when finished carefully wafting (considering your space & anything flammable) place the stick in a fire proof bowl. Always use caution and respect when working with fire
