The space, It’s the vastness, emptiness and impressiveness that is our version of wholehearted luxury. We’ve focused on enlarged dimensions in order to play with beautiful negative space. We feel people need space to retreat from this sometimes confronting world we all find ourselves in. When scale hits the bare necessities, we believe optimum relaxation is possible.

Our four-metre high egg-shaped treatment pods, reduce the sharp edges a building like ours was born with. The shape of the pods also speak to our love of numerology with each outline being the shape of the number three, and then the two pods sitting together at either end of the space each create a figure eight. Our address is 383 Oxford Street.

When a client is in their pod, they really are in the most sacred, loving and secure of spaces, wrapped in a cone of ancient metal. About The Role

Successful candidates will have a high level of attention to detail and ability to perform all services with the utmost of care. A commitment to developing your skills requires a desire to work with a team who each share decades of experience and expertise.  As a Beauty Therapist proficient in Massage Therapies, you are the Venustus ambassador.  You treat all the guests with the utmost respect, ensuring they feel welcome, calm, relaxed, in good hands.  You treat all Venustus Senior Staff with the honour and respect they have earned, with decades of training and experience who can assist you on your journey.   Our experience has always been research, then studying a new medium each and every year, so our body of work is large, really large and our commitment to our work and craft is the same.  Venustus private skincare & bodycare private label contains organic ingredients and is designed to elevate each experience.  Our body of work all began with Beauty Therapies, Massage Mediums and Healing energies, creating experiences, always reaching for a higher level, as our guests say “Jeannie, it really is Michelin Star level, every treatment, every visit, every gift voucher experience”.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including massages, facial treatments, waxing, threading, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyebrow shaping, and other services as required.
• Administer various massage techniques, including Remedial, Swedish, Lithos (hot rock), trigger point, Shiatsu, Hawaiian, Reflexology, Lymphatic, Fascia tool technique, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Rocking, Pre-Natal Massage, Lengthening Massage, Six Hand Massage, Four Hand Massage, •    
• Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including massages, facial treatments, waxing, threading, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyebrow shaping, and other services as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests, upon entry and ensuring guests feel comfortable, valued and extremely happy with their treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms prior to each guest, by changing the bed linen, cleaning the floors, removing unnecessary items and ensuring the room is properly equipped for the next guest. Reading guest pre-treatment form.
• Maintain general cleaning duties within the space, to ensure optimal presentation and experience for Venustus guests.
• Safely operate necessary equipment including irons, kettles, waxing pots and facial machinery. 
• Uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the space and treatment areas.
• Actively participate in all required training and professional development sessions,
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

As a Client Experience Specialist, you will:

• Cultivate a meaningful experience with your guests, guided by the Senior team,  founded on authenticity, expertise, and emotional resonance.
• Deliver Venustus signature experiences, that blend healing with science, ensuring each treatment meets the unique needs and aspirations of each guest (from the Pre-treatment form)
• Master the diagnosis and protocols, contra-indications, of our exclusive services and treatments, executing them with precision and care.
• Elevate the client experience by delivering both outstanding service and an immersive experience that transforms each visit into an unforgettable experience
• Share your knowledge of skincare, bodycare, anatomy, with team members first, once critiqued, then share with our guests, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor within Venustus

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within a luxury spa or successful space
• A diploma or degree qualification Beauty Therapy, Certificate in Massage
• Extensive knowledge of aromatherapy ingredients used within Facials & Massage and Bodywork
• Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy plus the anatomy and physiology of the skin.
• A flexible, client-focused schedule with availability for some late nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• A natural love of the work, with a genuine passion for delivering the ultimate guest experience.
